We’ve built our Shopify app to be flexible and easy to update. In this article, you’ll find instructions on how to change modes of your Cloverly app. We have three core behaviors in our app. You can read descriptions of each mode here

 

Updating your app from Default Opt-In (Customer Pays) to Always Green (Shop Pays): 

  1. Go to the Settings tab of your Cloverly app in Shopify.
  2. Scroll down to the “Cloverly Behavior” section.
  3. Select the “Always Green” mode.
  4. Scroll down to the “Shipment greened view” section.
  5. Confirm that your Always Green messaging is filled out and correct. (If not, see the directions below for "Customizing your Always Green messaging.")
  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Update Shop.”
  7. Run a test in your store by adding a product to the cart. After the page loads, the Always Green messaging should appear, meaning that Always Green mode is working properly.

Customizing your Always Green messaging:

  1. Go to the Settings tab of your Cloverly app in Shopify.
  2. Scroll down to the “Customize Views” section.
  3. Confirm that “Use default Cloverly views” is unchecked.
  4. Scroll down to “Shipment greened view.”
  5. Edit the text as needed in the <p class ="cloverly-copy"> section of the code.
  6. Once you finish editing, scroll down the page and click “Update Shop.”
  7. Run a test in your store by adding a product to the cart. After the page loads, the Always Green messaging should appear, meaning that Always Green mode is working properly.
